Quote:is the volume adjustable whilst making a call nowThe volume should be adjustable if you initiate the call through FrontView's dial dialog.

I 've tried Frontview on P800, but the top bar indicator disappered again (Backgrond image is extended to the top already)
after rebooting, there is a notice that "frontview is start..." but nothing come up the screen
the last thing is Frontview reconised my P800 firmware version is R2D instead of R2F as it is.
If the bug is solved, it would be great app on FC mode.

Quote:on P800, but the top bar indicator disappered again (Backgrond image is extended to the top already)Problem on the P800 is that the top bar is transparent, i. e. you see the _normal_ background (not FrontView's!) on the bar. There are two choices: either (1) FrontView displays its image _below_ the top bar, like in previous versions (but then the top bar will show a different image's part), or (2) FrontView covers the top bar (but then the top bar indicators can not be seen). So which one is better? (Note that these problems are not present on P9x0 phones where the top bar is not transparent.)

I installed the beta 6 to test it but when I wanted to uninstall it gave an error that it is still running, so I opened the task manager in sman to view the application and stop it but it was not there in the task list and sman started giving an error with reason code USER and reason number 23.
I rebooted the phone and uninstalled the application but i still get the same error from sman each time I try to activate it.
What should I do next ?? and have any one encountered the same ??

@ Lisa, see the point you provide about P800 indicator bar
I would prefer full image of Frontview
Btw, the indicator @ the bottom seems to less informative to me, especially the 2 last on the right (animated graph, whats it?).
If u can provide signal strength and battery gauge it would be great

Quote:the indicator @ the bottom seems to less informative to mePress the * key to see an explanation on what the indicators mean (from left to right).Quote:especially the 2 last on the right (animated graph, whats it?)The rightmost one shows probabilities for motion (red line) and area recognition (green line). The one to the left is signal strength history.Quote:If u can provide signal strength and battery gauge it would be greatBattery is the 5th indicator from the left, and signal strength is the 6th one.

@ Lisa,Thanks for answering
Having been using Frontview for 2 days on P800, the soft works good except some bugs
1. after making call, Frontview doesn't resume
2. auto lock works in 1st day, but the next day I experienced that it stoped (disable the original keypad auto lock already)
Do I need to set any other option or it still the bugs of beta version?
Looking for testing new beta!

@Lisa

Will a future version include support for animated.gif background images? I have a few that i use, and it would be great if this was included.

Quote:Will a future version include support for animated.gif background images?Yes, animated .gif support is planned for some later version. Note however that displaying an animated image as the background consumes a lot of battery power.
