I would be very happy if you guys stopped calling those phones Vivaz2 and Satio successor. Satio and Vivaz was SE:s biggest mistake ever. Symbian S60 5th is the most crappy os I've ever used and so far away from SE quality as possible. Thank god they've cancelled the Symbian os.

I dont think anybody would be interested with dual touch screen.. 1 large 4 inch screen is more than enough.. Dual screen is complicated..i personally dont like it..
The trend is all abt large single touch screen..its easy to use,handle ,operate or do multi task..

I've had similar thought as Dups. Whats left to present at mwc when all phones have been leaked and reviewed, which I don't think is an accident. I'm sure SE can keep a secret if they really want to. SE themself have said that 2011 is a year when hardware is really important, so it feels kind of strange if Arc is their best offer, especially when you consider what's going to be announced by samsung and perhaps htc. The pessimist in me still thinks that there won't be anything more highend from SE than the Arc in H1.

@tyko
SE can keep a secret if hey wanted to. Satio was a well kept secret wasn't it? And all the neo, arc leaks are deliberate controlled leaks. SE had said it'll make Android noise, they know what samsung, HTC are rumored to launch, they'll be fools not to have competitive device(s). Lets see what
13th brings, hopefully they do have a well kept secret to unravel.

Many on this board seem to crave dual-core processors in an SE phone. But take a look at Engadget's review of the LG 2x, seems the dual-core isn't helping with the UI at all. Buggy software too that's eating RAM. So I think it's too simple-minded to just look at the processor spec, it's the overall user experience that counts. If SE can execute with the Arc (i.e. availability, price, SW quality, support) then I think they'll have a winner.

Wow Wow a flipphone=keitai/big fail, clamshell aren't very popular by here, samsung already failed and in spite of understand that SE keep on doing silly thing I mean the LG touch slider and samsungs one were both failures but SE failed afterward with the Aino And keep in mind that SE is silly enough to think because dual core isn't supported enough, not to start with until it is usefull... remember.... android.
So I bet for a dualcore smartphone to be presented but launched 6 months later this is SE!!! together with this flip phone with pico projector.

I to believe that Arc could sell well. For me however, I will either go for the arc light, halon or a beast such as the sgs2, not something in between. I'll probably change when I see the arc in full flesh though. The thing about dual cores is perhaps not what you get now but in 1 year when dual cores is mainstream and apps and OS are really optimized for dual cores.

Hmm, what's Arc light ? You have some inside scoop ? Re dual-cores: Yes if the manufacturers will update their phones even after 1 year then your logic will make sense. But the track record so far from all of them (Samsung, HTC, Moto etc) isn't very good.
