Hi all!
Sorry for taking so long... I'm doing some research to customize my K800i... there are so many thing I should read first... going nuts...
@Zeit... there is a difference bettween widcomm versions... the newer ones doesn't work with bluetooth dongles that doesn't come with it. Even with the patch and editing the .inf file
@rocky
what happened with your PC?
do you still need another widcomm stack?
Don't download the latest.. from widcomm.. it will not work with the lates versions.. The ID trick only works with older verisons.

@Zeit
When you share your Dial Up, don't you have to choose a network connection to share it with?
like the print screen under
and, just to try.. check all options under advanced tab, dont edit nothing.. only mark the options.
Than give a try
By the way... wich widcomm stack you have? Does you BT adapter came with Widcomm software?
@Rocky
Please tell a short history of what happened, and where you're now!
I've been away from this topic so I'm a little bit lost

hi there pedrops,thanks for your reply,encouraged me:P...
well about the widcomm version,i've installed Widcomm 5.0.1.801 just as you've suggested earlier and since it's working good i see no need to upgrade to a newer version,on the other hand you are saying that the newer versions dont work with my dongle.....
my dongle came with Bluesoleil and it reads on the dongle : billionton
on the issue again about sharing my Dial-up connection,well i have only two connections,a Dial-Up connection and Bluetooth LAN which is created by widcomm,so while sharing,it doesn't ask me which LAN connection should it share the dial-up with,coz i've got only one LAN connection.....
and yes,if i enable my ethernet adaptor(currently disabled),i should select one of them...
well,i've already thought about checking those services under advanced tab,to enable them i must assign a name or IP address,or they would not be enabled,it says : "Name or IP address(i.e. 192.168.0.12)of the computer hosting this service on your network"???
my computer name is assigned by default,doesn't "Home or small ofice Network Wizard" set these settings automatically?
or shouldn't i apply some extra setting and changes??
anyway,i'm giving it a go...

nothing...
there are two possibilities:
1-data transfer from pc to phone through bluetooth is way too slow,slow enough to have not anything on the phone.
2-there is no data transfer between phone and pc at all...
but i'm wondering why there is no errors with the connection

@pedrops
well, to cut the long story short! i need a new installer of the widcomm stack.. how bout that?!
jk, actually you knew that i had this done way back.. and im quite happy with it. but at one point, ive removed my dongle to free up a USB connection for my printer, after that when i plugged it (BT dongle) back. i thought it was perfectly fine. but when i started connecting from my phone to the PC to use DSL connxtion... the phone was stuck at "Connecting..." stage. But my PC tells me that my phone is already connected (the icon turned green). but i cannot access internet from phone coz the "Connecting..." window is still there.
but other services are possible,
- serial ports
- file transfer
- obex
etc etc etc
EXCEPT for the internet. ive tried juggling the procedures but none of em worked. so ive uninstalled widcomm stack, try to setup fresh. but now the patch wont work, and the whole installation is buggy.
then i gave up... but i remembered you, and hoping you still have clean installers and a working patch... whew.. thats a mouthfull...
