The US only helps countries wen it suits, then they try make up for it by invading..
Who created and armed Bin Laden ?
Who created and armed Saddam ?
Who supplies Israel with more aid to help in its demolition of palestinian hoems ?
Who threatens World Peace, with illegal invasions, continouosly stupid remarks that create more hatred ?
Just look at its support for rogue states that are its 'Allies', for 18 yrs Israel defied the UN by staying in LEbanese areas, and would not withdraw until they wer defeated..
Israel continues to violate Human rights laws in Palestine, and continues to oppress the Palestinian people, again the US does nothing
Lebanese-Israeli war (Did not even attempt to pressure Israel into ending war)
Iran-Iraq war (at the time of conflict Iraq was a US ally)(Supplied Iraq with weapons to atempt to get rid of threat of increasing Anti-US feeling in Iran)

Yes, the US supported Bin Laden in the Afghan fight against Soviet Union...I probably would have done that too...but Bin Laden obviously changed his political goals when the Soviet Union pulled out of Afghanistan.
Why not go after Israel? You obviously didn't read my earlier post. There was a treaty signed by most countries in 1996 banning nuclear testing. Israel, as well as other countries had nuclear weapons before this treaty. Therefore, US is not going after these countries. Iraq, Syria, and N. Korea has been trying to create nuclear weapons AFTER the UN adopted this treaty. That is why the US has been putting pressure on these nations.
I do agree that the US are to lenient with Israel....but you have to realize that a huge part of the US population are Jews and that influences US foreign policy...just as the huge population of Arabs in France influences Chirac's foreign policy.
Arafat is doing nothing to achieve peace. A leadership change a very important part in the Israel-Palestine peace process.

Isn't it interesting that the pro-Israel/pro-US/anti-Arab militants points of view are balanced, intelligent, well-reasoned and informed, backed up by accurate information.
Whereas the flip side is argued by those who, for the most part, have no idea what they are talking about and merely sound like mouthpieces for some Anti-US fundamentalist dictator, looking to justify the unjustifiable and always using the, "well look at Israel" argument.
Bit like a microcosm of the world at the moment.....

They all sound like an Israeli foreign minister, or an American spokesperson..
But then again many people in the US/UK cant think for themselves, and require information from Biased sources to tell them wat goes on..
Y dont U go and hav a look at wat israel/US hav done in countries such as Lebanon, and Palestine, and THEN tell me my arguments are just babble.
