Just make it reboot in front of them and watch them get the "dear in the headlights" look on their face. Screw em.

Got my phone back took the metal notpad with me that it always rebooted on checked it seemed fine didnt reboot tried afew times when i got home tried it again and its still rebooting, R3K004 is still the latest software just checked with the online update phone phone is allready upto date

Did you take anything with you to make it reboot in front of them so that they could see it live? Funny how they continue to replace and update phones but "there is no problem". Now this is getting a bit annoying. Are there some shows, or places in the UK where you can go to get this into the open.

Just sent this to Mobile9. Let's get a list of mobile sites such as Esato and start to publish the communications from SE.
It seems that there are quite a few s700i users that are having consistent rebooting problems with their s700i. SE in the UK refuses to acknowledge the problem while SE Finland, and SE Germany both acknowledge that there is a problem that SE in Sweden is working on. Why is that the other SE service centers are failing to admit that there is a problem, or is it that they do not know? Something must be going on as SE is replacing phone, upgrading software pretty much without an argument. Either way, there are many, many owners that are getting frustrated by SE’s lack of support. Included is the the thread at Esato showing the owners and their back and forth communications with SE.

Please view this site and see how SE is ignoring its current customers. I for one will think twice before I purchase another SE phone based on the way they are treating their customers. Also enclosed is a communication that I have received from SE in the UK totally oblivious to the problem that we customers are having. We, the users of SE phones ask that you publish this and make this known while we explore other ways to get this out to the public and warn them about SE phones.

With regards to your enquiry, we have not received information from Sony Ericsson management to say they is a fault with the handset. If you have a problem with your phone we would suggest that you contact one of our service centres to arrange to get the phone checked over for any possible faults that may be present on your handset. They is a 12 month warranty on all Sony Ericsson products.

They provide a postal service. The handset should be adequately packaged and sent special delivery. Please remove SIM card. The following documentation should be sent with the handset: your name and contact details, contact number and e-mail address if available. Please take note of the handset model and the IMEI number prior to sending the unit to ACR. Please send a copy of proof of purchase. The turnaround time is 10 working days from receipt of the handset at ACR.

reboot is a big word, reboot always is even a much "bigger word".
Remember our PC got hang times and times but different ways it can happen.....
to discuss, explain how did it get re-boot always and you are still able to use the phone
i had it a few times, thats all, and i never been able to find a way to make it happen consistently.

my s700i reboots frequently when recieving a call, it vibratetes for a fraction of a second then the screen glows white and then reboots for
a few seconds, then by that time the person is trying to call again, and the same happens over again... i read a post about s700i's crashing when called in a metal can?! could this be related since it usually crashes when its sitting on a metal table when this happens... any ideas (fireware r3L002)
