The P990i unlocked, SIM free on eBay are all above £300 - most above £350 - O2 has quoted me £50 for the phone - "pretty cheap" is subjective, but not that subjective.

I heard recently there is a scam around on ebay, where you by a new phone off someone and a couple of months later afetr feedback has been given etc. they claim on the insurance they took when they got the phone and the phone you bought gets blocked...want to wait for a brand new phone aswell, it's almost here.....

Still its still a good price, and besides u choose a powerseller with alot of feedback, I bought a P910i of there 2yrs ago and I think they seemed to be alot.. P990i's seem cheap was amazed how much they are on eBay.. Im due a upgrade December, hoping o2 can give me a D900 next to nothing lol

I agree with waiting for a new handset. You never know on ebay because there could be problems with the handset eg hardware like some people on the forum are saying,
Warranty is not 100% certain
price is too high, 350 is still too much
And I know someone who bought a new phone from ebay and it got blocked a month later, and was too late to claim on ebay insurance!!

O2 release date... this thread.. i believe.. spoke to o2 yesterday it's been put back yet again now it's the 30 Oct... we will see.. Hope due to the long wait many of the issues have now been delt with!?

I won't get your hopes up to much. Don't expect the P990i to be released this side of November at least. I'm thinking the week beginning the 6th is when you'll find it in O2 stores.
