I would kill for an AM tuner instead of a FM tuner. Why would I listen to the garbage Clear Channel spews at us when I can actually enjoy Phil Hendrie, Tom Leykis, and more

Is there a way to break this thing open and flick on the AM switch

AM uses a different type of antenna, you would have to build it in.
FM needs a long antenna.

mates,is there any differences in using the headsets as an atenna? Because on my p990i,when i'm using the headset from the box i can get a good reception but when i used a hpm headset i can't get a good reception. Any ideas??

@goldenface, I believe so, as on my previous Nokia phones, the radio function was not available unless the headset was plugged in.

Considering that there would be close to zero reception without the headset as an antennae, I think it makes no difference whether the radio can be turned on or not without the headset.
