Here is my picture of the headset that came with the phone....
The originals definitly have clean cut fonts. The one that is misspelled has more chubby/bubbly letters.
Also, notice around the silver button of the originals have an angled perimeter, while the false one is rounded.

@ Si_V80
Your phone didn’t come with a handsfree ?? I thought it is a standard accessory. Is your phone branded? cos if not then there should be one . I am yet to see an unbranded K750 sold without a handsfree. Did you at least get the 64MB memory stick and the data cable ?

Definately a fake: the icons are different, as they seem to have green edges, and the text on a real Sony Ericsson will never have this worn down o's ore type errors.

Ok... although I have not seen the packaging for those headsets... here's something I've noticed with the REAL se stuff...
packaging is NOT resealable. you have to usually tear the back out to get to the unit.
printing is much better... look at the text for "Made in" fake stuff has slight bleeding/blurring.. and se logo on the real thing is very clear... fake ones have larger print dots/screen
item itself has VERY clean/sharp brand name etching/molding.
at 5 pounds (sorry, dunno how to do the pound sign on a mac)... that is fake... kinda pricey for a fake too... we get those here for about 1~2 pounds. hahahaha

There was a time which I didn't believe any electrical goods would be fake, only clothes. That was until I went to Bangkok, then I realised that anything could be faked I was offered a portable DVD/CD/MP3 player (basically looked like a portable CD player) apparently made by Sony, sh1t they had everything.
Unfortunately these are also fake.
