ok just got myself a cruiser cable, but i need some help...
the cable has two extra clampers (red and black), what are they for?
when i click read cid/test cable in davinci 14.6, it says "Shortly press Power button!" but when i plug in my phone it turns on directly, and pressing the power button "shortly" doesn't work... i installed the 4in1 cruiser cable drivers from davinci site. My cable was detected as fighter cable though..

the crocodile clips are for external power, namely 3-4v. in the 4 in 1 cable you needto apply external voltage as well as the phones battery unless the cable has been modified.

put some tape on top of one just to help ballance the other on it's top...
Now tape them together.
Speaker cable is ok for extending to the Crock Clips (RED/BLACK) - strip 2" off the end and roll it up so you get a good chunk to tape to the battery terminals.
Tie the loose end (as shown) so there's no chance of a short!
Crock the ends (
Make sure "+" is attached to the RED Crock and "-" to the BLACK)
Before pluggin the cruiser cable in take the battery cover off the phone, it's easier to slightly remove battery and reinsert it then...
PS. I allways stick the white with black line to "+"

or you could alternatively:
connect it to a fully charged nokia battery.
put an old 3310 on chargeing and no battery, hook up the red clip to the + terminal and the black clip to the - terminal (makes a low humming sound).
i just modified my cable though.

i changed the port settings from 115200 to 921600 and there are no more errors, i dunno why though..
