Guys after updating and restoring back my data since
it was wipe out from updating
I have no idea if the latest updates from SE
was properly installed. I might had restored
it back to the older version after restoring via SE PC suite
so, how can I check on my phone if the latest
update from SE was installed on my P910?
I tried to check it through SE update again
after restoring my data Guess what?
the update was not installed Don't tell
the process is back to where it all started
tried also not taking out my phone from the cradle
after updating again without even restoring my data
Guess what again? Still I need to update with the same CDA
this is no longer funny. So how about it? In or out?

The restore function won't change your firmware - but the SEUS program basically just sucks!
It doesn't tell you if you already have the latest version, it just updates your phone.
I ran the update and before restoring I checked my firmware version - EXACTLY THE SAME AS BEFORE!!!
Now I have to wait a couple of hours for the restore process to finish, to get my phone back to normal - WHAT A WASTE OF TIME!!!
I don't understand why SE would release a program like this, when it doesn't check the firmware version correctly??
I liked the old web site better where you could manually see what the latest version where and compare that to your phone.

Strange also that this page:
http://uiqzone.org/software/firmware_p910.php
Says the latest CDA version for my phone is R5B01, released Oct. 25th
I haven't updated my phone since august, but my CDA version remains at R5A02 before and after the update.
The Organiser version IS R5B01, also before and after - what's with that ???
Does anybody have a P910i with CDA R5B01 ??

I agree with you Peter321 this can't be right so they better do
something about it...
got to restore my phone again
Really true such a waste of time and energy
Better forget SEUS, I will.

I think the date on the uiqzone pages is the date it was last checked, rather than the date that that firmware was released. If I'm right, that would explain it.

No, the page show is supposed to show the release date however, I don't know if it can handle the new SEUS.

I too did the update and restore, but my CDA is still R5A07 allthough the page says it should be R5B02...
However I have a Organiser version that says: R5B02...
Is there a mixup on the uiqzone page perhaps?

No my understanding from reading the unique website is you take the organiser version as the number to check not the one next to the CDA, in which case you do have the latest firmware . Hope that helps explain it for you. Personally until some one announces a major improvement i am not attempting an update as stated by others if it ain't broke don't fix it is definitely the safest option.
