Interesting. Wonder what s/w your phone has got? Also are you using the different dial in telephone numbers for each of these ISPs?
I'm tempted to give Vizavi a go. Are they just UK based or do they go into europe ?
Sound good!

step#1 set up an isp access under connect/datacoms/data accounts
i use orange isp - u can get access for free from the orange.net my profile section
they told me (and i use it therefore it works ;_) to use 07973 100273
step#2 set up an e-mail account under messages/options/email
important thing to remeber: change teh "connect with" to the orange isp that u setup.
#step 3 - try and check your mail good luck

my worked first time

[after realising i had to set up an isp DUH]
extra sexy tip: ring orange data services (156) and get yourself enabled on 14.4k instead of 9. it costs no extra and ok its not a massive increase but every extra counts!
phew... what else? Oh orange.net have problems sending e-mail to certain domains... i've been hasselling them and they reply with "we know we have problems we will try and fix them" which is a real pain because the one domain i need to send to onthe move doesn't work! [nb. i've not had a problem receiving mail, just gettings orange.net to send]

Hi, I'm new to this site. There were some old posts about POP3 access via Proximus in Belgium (for example: to access Yahoo POP3 mail), and I want to pick up that subject again.
I understand from Proximus that POP3 access is not a given just because you have a GPRS-enabled account -- you also need to have something that Proximus calls "Mobile Internet". This then allows POP3 access, but it is very expensive.
Can anyone corroborate this? Proximus customer service people often leave me with the impression that they don't know what they are talking about. I have spoken with people at Proximus who never heard of POP3.
Just to make one point that some people seem confused about: there are two ways to access Yahoo mail with your mobile: WAP and POP3. Using WAP, you can browse to Yahoo, log in, and look at your mail. POP3 is a totally different way of getting your mail. I want to set up a POP3 account in my phone to get my Yahoo mail. I know how to do this, but I cannot connect. I think this is because my Proximus account does not enable POP3.
