...This version TCPMP (Symbian UIQ) reads media files only MEMORY CARD (D:\\Media files\\video\\... or D:\\Media files\\other\\..)...
It works, works, works...
...just what I said earlier...

There is a file/find file seciton in the program. If you click it, TCPMP gives an error and closes. Did you notice it?

Its still in its alpha stages. Im sure this is probably a known bug. Lets just hope its released soon. The only issue I have with it is that by the time it comes out the P990 will probably be out and we will have to wait again lol.

for sure it will get better anyway it's still in a beta
version it will be as good as what i'm using for my palm
i used to have a smartmovie for palm then i shifted
to tcmp if by then it will be better i'll have tcmp
for my P9 instead of smartmovie
hopefully it would still remain a freeware by then its
release for uiq just as it is now free for
smartphones

All I did was downloaded the file at
http://picard.exceed.hu/tcpmp/test/tcpmp.symbian.0.71j.zip & installed it 2 my phone replacing the previous file which I got from the link on this thread. And now it works just fine...can play more than 1 file infact all the files (audio & video) 4m internal & external memory...just about 2 try a wmv/rm file 4 the first time on my P900. But still think SmartMovies is better as U cannot pre/port roll audio increase/decrease brightness etc...but I m not complaining as long as it plays rm files.

UPDATE:-
. Managed 2 play .mpg file.
. Didnt play .wmv file.
. Dont 've ne .rm file 2 try.
. I had mistaken 'bout the internal memory...it doent look 4 ne thing on the internal memory.
. Does it need some codecs 2 play wmv/rm files ???

There is smartmovie for avi's. I use TCMPMP for wmv's.
