I agree with Luke if you stab someone you should be stabbed, you burn someone alive you should be burn't alive.

It will never happen, the law is too soft on people, criminal's play the game they are not stupid they know the sentence/punishment they will most likely get.

A few shock's must be dished out in my opinion harsher sentence's or capital punishment.

DNA has come along way and 99% of cases can be concluded beyond doubt these day's so it's unlikely you would be giving a death sentence to the wrong person.

I doubt that will never happen either though.

That's really awful. I have a dog myself and one really wonders at the mentality of this. I do hope they are able to catch the person/people responsible for this. Furthermore I don't see why killing an animal should be any less of a crime than killing a human being.

I would like to say though that one shouldn't be too quick to deal out death and judgement. Decrying something like killing and then using killing as a punishment seems hypocritical to me. I think Ghandi's addage of an eye for an eye making the world blind is very relevant.
