another main difference is that w810 supports M4A and AAC sound formats, which the w800 doesn't. in short, you can store more songs on your w810 with the same audio quality with that of mp3s..(m4a and AAC usually need 64Kbps of encoding in order to come up with the quality of a 128Kbps mp3 encoded audio file.)

another difference as i compared last month when going to buy new one,, w810i has 1.9inch display while w800 1.8inch
therefore w810's new screen emitted brighter screen and better quality..
but hence it decreases w810 battery life... playing the sims 2 for few hours drain its battery faster than w800 and w550

wrong wrong wrong - W800 supports AAC - I use it everyday. And an AAC takes 96Kbps (not 64Kbps) to be as good as a 128Kbps mp3.
Also, no active lense cover, and less internal memory. Apart from EDGE, there no other real advantage to the W810 over the W800. If you don't need EDGE I wouldn't even consider the W810.
Go the W800.

@ThreeX - the answer to your 'friend' is such:
When listening to a audio file, click Menu and then select Minimize, then you can use the Play/Pause button on the side of the phone pause the audio. When the audio is Paused it should resume from where you left off when you un-pause it. Only issue with that is that since the media player is in the background, you might not be able to use any other Java applets, and possibly (not sure on this one) the camera itself.
That's the way I'd do it on a K750 anyways

Atleast on K750/W800, the camera works while audio is playing. Audio stops for a second while photo is taken.
