@bilbobaggins

I have been using my M600i on T-mobile and I have web'n'walk and it works very well! Infact I think their network was upgraded a few weeks ago and the speed of download on the M600 is superb. No need for wifi

We (in the Netherlands) dropped the deal to have one of the phones in the list... so now you can use it on a K800i also... probably it will be in other countries 2!

Think i may have the best data deal:
I've been told i will be billed 46p per month for the web and walk data bundle

Theres no mins/text etc - just the data bundle... The reason why its so cheap because when i upgraded earlier this year i got £10 off my line rental every month (plus discounted handset) - and they said i could keep the discount and change tariffs

I love t-mobile once again, havent been so happy since i was getting billed £3 p/m on my old tariff (mins and text)

T-mobile are back!
Only problem is, they're taking a bit longer than the competition in getting the handsets (wheres the K800 and they took forever to get the 8800).

Hi all,
whilst T-Mobile may not be the first to market with new phones i think that may not be such a bad thing. As IMO a lot of phones that are released by both equipment manufacturers and networks seem to be released far too early. Personally I'd rather wait a bit and get a phone that is actually stable and doesn't need an upgrade as soon as you take it out the box.

Just spoke to T-Mobile uk - Have now got the M600i and K800i on their coming soon list - no confirmed date but that ususally means a couple of weeks. Just thought people might like to know - especially if you are taking the web/walk tariff

So you can use any SIM-free phone on Web'n'Walk - they don't lock it to the IMEI of the phone they supply you with? Where did you find out the settings that you need to access the service?

Thanks,
Ian

I've now ported my vodafone number to a sim only deal with web'n'walk for a total of £17.50 a month. As that seemed very good I've also taken out a second sim only deal with web'n' walk for my second phone and I'm still paying less in data charges than I was with one sim with Vodafone.

So both my TyTN and M600 have this great deal and so yes, you can use it with any phone

settings can be found here, for example

@Masseur

I'm about to port my Vodafone number to T-mobile as well. Which tariff did you use for your SIM-only deal?

And what advantage was there in going SIM-only rather than getting, say, a "free" SDA or whatever and Ebaying it?

I think the sim only has 50 minutes calling a month from memory but I don't do much more than that these days as I prefer to email.

I guess I just don't like contracts and since I have phones coming out of my ears I'm not interested in the hassle of getting a phone just to sell
