I'm sure it will have an HDMI output...
What's the point of being capable of HD pic and BluRay discs if it hasn't got HDMI output?
(don't know of any other common HD output interface)

No guys, you're getting confused, the 20Gb PS3 definatley doesn't com e with a HDMI port, and yes that doesn't make sense considering what they're putting in them!

So overall, what is going to be the difference in quality between a modded Composite HD-AV cable, and a proper HDMI port? Because if say the difference would only be noticed with a decent high-end HD TV and surround system, then the 20Gb ain't that bad at all....
EDIT: I think I've worked it out....HD-AV does up to 1080i, and HDMI does upto 1080p....

PS, On a HD-AV composite cable, the red and white control sound, and the yellow is video, so what do the others do, the blue, green, etc They're only meant to be used with HD TV's according to Microsoft....

Yeah, but then why don't both have HDMI, my question is what will the difference between a modded Av cable be and HDMI?
Also as mentioned above what do the green, blue etc jacks do ona modded cable compared to the standard red, yellow and white?
