Well that is what you use special delivery for? There is no way of knowing how that damage occurred whether by transit or other means, you want the cover in case of a situation like this then you cough up for it don't you.

so the box has a little dent in it from where someone (apple man/lady/amnesia/royal mail dude/brownlad dropped it....
how does that in any way whatsoever affect the sale price of a product?
yes i know tescos et al will give you a discount on a new product if the box is damaged but a) Amnesia doesnt own or run tesco well not afaik, and b) he never stated the product to be new.
my imax box is worse than that and im the only one that has handled the box to damage it, came in a big brown box to me and silly old me dropped it, but the mac still works...
cant we just give amnesia a bit of space and give him his money?
i know it might be asking a lot but cant you take on a little christian spirit and turn the other cheek?

He didn't request special and I didnt offer it. They told me it'd arrive the same time as special, and it was 22-25 for special, I paid 16 for 1st with brand new box, packaging wrap, etc..
edit: @fatreg, I said it was excellent, and by that I meant that the box wouldn't look like that. I swear that wasn't me.

nope theres not rm wont cover anythign as petty as a box, one thing didnt it go inside another box as well when it was sent?
ALso u sure the damge was not caused by another person, when it was sent away the first or second time?
