Yeah, this is just the orange version of the activity menu - the "Homescreen"
Also, I just noticed that the down volume key is used for Zooming IN! on pictures. Opposite to K750...

Thanks bud, I'm happier now knowing that as I use the Homescreen key a fair bit on my K750. SE must of thought it made more sense switching the zoom key's around eh?

Hi, I have a brand new k800i (was the second to receive it in my region (italian speaking part of Switzerland)).
I now have a question:
- The phone is Orange branded. It is not that bad as branding. My question is: can the menu icons be changed or not?
I heard that the themes of the k800 also comprise personalized icons for the menu screen. I wonder if this option is available also for the Orange branded. I HATE THE ICONS ORANGE DESIGNED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They are plain ugly!!
So, before unbranding the whole phone, I would like to know if I can bypass this ugly feature as it seems it is the only "branding" I really don't like.
I don't care having access to the Orange Music store (which hasn't even been implemented in Switzerland...).
I would like to have, if possible, some link to themes which have different icons, so that I can try it out.
Cheers

I know there are some themes being created on esato but
www.mobile9.com also do good themes.
I also dont like the Orange icons, but if you debrand the phone that would get rid of them.

My question is: do I really have to debrand it in order to get rid of 'em? Or would a new theme do the job?
I heard you have to pay to de brand it over the internet...
Before paying I just wanted to check.... Unless, of course, there is an "alternative" to paying

@slayerule
Are you in the UK? What number did you call to get your M2 Memory card from Orange?
Thanks.

I tried to upload a new theme with icons but the Orange ones are still there. I think I will be unbranding my K800i soon enough
Is DaVinci a reliable site to do that?
Don't mind spending 10Euros since I got my phone for FREE (got connections eh eh).
Besides I will also get the :bt: stereo headphone (free) and a M2 micro (which, in turn, I will have to pay). I will let you know how the combination works once implemented...
Thanks for any input

Seriously, if possible I would like to know if DaVinci is a good system for unbranding my K800.
I really would like to and I don't mind paying, but I don't like messing with the phone, so I would like to be sure...

Did anyone work out if there is a way of photo blogging from a UK Orange branded phone? Can't see it myself which is a bit dissapointing.
Also will firmware updates still be available via SEUS should Orange decide to release any to us?
