what i love on the treo 650 is that if you write an sms and you have no signal, the sms is automatically sent as soon as you get coverage. You do not have to remember to send it as in some phones. Does the P990i do this too?
Its useful to write sms' on the tube/subway and then try to send them and let the phone send them automatically after. No hassle.
thanks.
This featureis availble since as early as P900, and if my memory sreves me right, my old P800 also has this feature

nice pics! so does this mean that the p990i is out? if so we should be able to purchase this also right? or only specific dealers and people can get this at this time....i need to put my p910 to rest now and get this phone

i enjoyed using the p800 and p910, and i'm pretty sure the p990 will be the same

OK, Lets start on some answers after I have checked them carefully :
1- You leave the SMS in the outbox it will be sent automaticaly when there is the network signal availlable.
2- I think the phone value for money is $800 after widely availlable.
3- On the battery door just below it is a big no color rubber ( PU, POly Urthan ) material which is for the balance of the phone but it is really a quality that somehow sticks to the surface and what has happened always for me when I break and stop the car it will fall from the beside sit but for this phone never will happen.
Again it is also the problem that when you are bringing it out from your pocket , the battery door will come out.

WOW Aafshari! I think I had my first multiple orgasm over these photos!
I have but one question that I need to answer.
Seeing how so many fans (except me & by the looks of it you aswell) prefer to have the numerical phone pad off; can the device be operated through menu's and through other operations be done by the built-in qwerty keypad, scroll wheel, and other side buttons WITHOUT the need for using the stylus (with the exception of drawing or signatures)? Whew! sorry long winded but I'm dying for this answer.

As for the last question, I have to say it is great and easily can be done to operate the phone without flip with the keyboard and the jog dial and the back key provided below the jog dial.
Even you can program the browser key to make some other application run.
Only I have to mention that the key lock button is really bad place very much below the phone on the side so when you want to pull it your other fingers on the other side will push the camera button and if the camera lens is open then it will run.

You could have just bought that cover

. The P990 name should be on the flip one, not the spare cover. That is definately a prototype.
