or the same ones you have saanj, i cant decide which ones. The panasonic look umm' powerful' lol. I want some with great bass,treble and comfortable to wear and just good sound quality overall, better than the walkman headphones. And of course id like them to be louder.
I jsut dont know which one out of the above which would be louder. Maybe the ear phone specs can tell this but i dontknow what they mean

Ok so I use a $20 pair of Koss-Spark Plug earbuds. Never looked into anything more expensive. They stay in my ears and are loud but I'm certainly no audiophile. Hell, half tone deaf at that. So to you guys in the know, are these total crap or what?

Try the Sennheiser cx 300's earphones! The sound quality comes close to that of the more expensive sure/ultimate ears earphones, but they are much cheaper. (+ 2 year garantee!!)
I must say I've become a fan of in ear headphones. The only disadvantage to me is that they are more fragile.

@ads, yeah Panasonic all the way. Can't go wrong with them. I was actually looking for that model @ my local shops some time back, couldn't find them so I bought a diferent pair of Panasonic headphones. My brother has since stollen those from me, and he won't give them back to me.
So can those Panasonic headphones handle the output of your K750 or K800? Does it crackle?

I bought mine off ebay from seller in hk, as they were only just released there. And i know they wont come to Australia for ages, and they will be rare and exspensive when they do come here.
I think they were released in US late last year, early this year. So im glad i bought them. I looked in my local electronic stores, but had nothing that caught my eye, only some $120 sony's which i could have got off ebay for $70 delivered.
They handle the k800i fine, they are aewsome, of course they havnt 'burned in' yet as ive only used them for bout 5mins on my k800, but already im impressed. The quality is so much better than the hpm70's, and i ve been reading some expert and reader reviews, and some say they are on par, if not, better the shure ec4's.
Again, so far i am already very impressed. Not cheap, but well worth it

the hpm70's supplied with the walkman phones are similar to these. The hpm70's are a sony pair, cant member which model, but arent any where near as good as the panasonic i just got.
The sannenheisers cx300 are a good 'budget' pair....

I was searching high and low for those earlier this year. It was on the local Malaysian Panasonic website, so I assumed that it would be in stores, I couldn't be more wrong.
Thanks for those links, but I'm gonna use my Phillips ones for now, then when it dies on me, I'm gonna go hunting for those Panasonic ones or those Koss SparkPlug ones. I'll most probably get those Panasonic ones though.
Anyway, based on my experience, my past Panasonics loose a little of that initial tight bass once it gets burned in. Once its burned in, you'll notice more clarity, I know I started to notice little intruments here and there in the background once my panasonics were burnt in.
Let me know how it goes.
My Philips on the other hand was the total opposite. The bass was weak initially but now it kicks ass.
I just love the low resonating bass!
Just go try the song called "Grillz" by Nelly. Now THAT is LOW bass.
Enjoy your new toy, erm... I mean headphones.
