i feel sorry for all phone housing designers
tbh i like the white w810i it shouts to me walkman phone the black is sleek and sexy but not the same effect althouhg i shall be buying the black one... (sorry off topic)
same as the k750 and k800 it takes months of designing, prototyping, re design, makeing it cost effective people dont realize how much goes into housing stop being so picky like most people say it preferance i love the old t68i and 3210 when the 3310 came out i thought it was a fatter harder to use phone but it wasnt same when i looked at the P series the phone i think is unatractive
sorry i've ranted

i am a 'convert' from Nokia to SE.
For ages, i have been a Nokia slave, my last phone was a Nokia N91.
I wanted to get N93 but after reading a lot reviews, bad or good. When i saw the actual unit, it is really a big phone. I had enough of big phones in my pocket. not to mention the price which is also heavy in my walllet.
I decided to get myself a K800i when it was OFFICIALLY launched last Aug 5. K800i was available in grey markets since July 06 at a lower price but since this is my first ever SE phone, i bought it directly from Sony Ericsson.
Its been a week and i am loving my phone. At last i have a phone that really looks like a phone.
And SE is more macintosh friendly than Nokia phones.

Well, when the K800 was first announced, I thought it was the ugliest phone that SE's ever made. Still, IMO, it doesn't look pretty. It's grown on me a bit, but it just looks so chunky. And the back...
SE can do better, and have done better in the past and present. Just look at the M600 and K610. Hopefully, the new Cybershots will be improved design as well as spec wise. Like my
concept for the next one?
EDIT: It is based on the W850 BTW. Like what the K750 is to the W800.

I think SE is making a statement with the cam side of the K800, It probably looks more like a cam than any other camphone out there. After all, they did invent the Dual-Front concept. :-)

IMO i think the K800 looks awesome but the back could use some improvement.
About the phone to replace the K800, i think it should have atleast 5 MP as the KG920 by LG already has 5 MP

A K800i an ugly duckling? depends what planet are you from. The K800 looks very classy in a very simple form the design isnt ott, what other nice phones are there that possibly matches the design of this phone? The phone is simply not aimed for those would are looking for street cred at macdonalds.
