Chimex,

U wrote that : if so 2.5 days battery life sounds heavenly. u just mite ave a defective battery

Yes, I browse with my phone around every 2 hours for 2 min, and It last around 3 days or so, moreover I also keep it on at nights, I always charge it on 3rd Day Night. So I believe It runs for 60+ Hours, and after that it has Around 10%+ (or 10%- in rare case) Power or so

Now Please Tell me is that too bad, or good !!!!!!!!

Thanks for the responses ....

hey,

r u happy that ur phone can last for 3 days? if so then that's good .. i don't think it is a matter of whether it's a bad or good thing but more of whether u r okay with it or u want it to stay longer?

i have a k750i for over a year now and i never really keep track of the charging but i think it usually lasts for at least 2 days and i am happy with it

that's just my 2 cents

I tink ur battery is GOOD Deepakonwww. wat i said about a defective battery was if u dont do anything but call wit it and it stil doesnt last. you surf, and surfing takes battery life much more than calls. give ur battery some credit, i think its aait

Hi Chimex,

By Browsing, I don't mean to say NET Surfing.

What I mean is just palying with Phone, and that doesn't include Gaming, Just browse through menus and occassionally Play songs, and that too with Handsfree.

This is for the Clarification.

For Sure, i don't think My Battery is Bad, But I just want to Last As Long As possible.
Hey Chimex, Can U do one thing for me Let me know How much Last long Nokia's Batteries are.
So that I can satisfy myself.

Warm Regards,
Deepakonwww

See what "dumbrella" Says inn his Previous Reply :

I send maybe 10 texts a day, and like, 5 mins of calls, and i can often keep my k750i off the charger all week, and have 40% left at he end of the week...

Now tell me, is it not the reason for me to become jealous
Like Mine runs for Only 2.5+ Days, and His runs for a Week and after week he has still 40% remain.... Surpising .....

well if u want ur phone to last as long as it can then don't use it as much as u can

like i said before, my k750i is a year old and it still last for at least 2 days and i use it quite a lot .. maybe 30 sms/day .. now i don't use my phone a lot to make a call but i do receive a phone call every now and then (can't really say how many minutes per day)

just another 2 cents from me

PS: all in all, i think in general SE batteries are so much better than Nokias which can barely even last for a day

Hey RokeyGali, Thanks again for ur kind supprot

But have u read what Chimex is said, He advice me to discharge completely around 3-4 times and then charge, and it will perform optimally.
Do u believe it, I don't think that charging now & then will improve my battery.

What I want is to Improve my battery Usage Time ??

Hope I will someday ???

no no no!! This only applies to nicad or mnih batteries, not Lithium. You do not have to deep cycle lithium batteries. All it will do is shorten the battery lifecycle, and it won't improve the battery usage time one little bit.

My bettery loose 1% each hour even if I don't touch the phone !!!

Is this normal or problamatic !!!

1% per hour is 100 hours standby. SE say 400 hours, but that is very optomistic. I could get 300 odd hours by charging the phone fully, putting an inactive sim in (so it can't recieve calls or messages) and putting it in a draw where it never gets touched (so as not to light up the screen). Another factor that makes it look worse, the battery meter is not very accurate, so it looks like the battery is nearly dead but will still have quite a few hours standby. So your 1% might be more like .5% (ie: 200 hours)

2 hours is the recommended charge time, but if you keep charging after the battery is full, the charger shuts down (it doesn't trickle charge like MNiH chargers, so another reason why there is no point in deep cycling)
