I also dont think my W810i suffers from a hiss...its just the thing when I drive the volume to the max. the sound becomes a little distorted...but when I go just half a block down - the distortion is gone... I have experienced this on many other mp3 players... when I put on my Iriver H10 the vol to max - slight distortion...one, two digits down, total hifi.
even though, I never drive my W810i to the max, two block apart from max and I go hifi happy.
so let it roll SE Walkman series, U rock big time!
