Its not as though the current A-ZoTT doesn't support negatives, they are even listed in a seperate post to the +ves to make it easy to see who has -ve feedback.
If people are so worried about dealing with someone with -ve feedback but can't bring yourself to find the posts to see the reason why they have received it then I suggest that you simply choose not to deal with them!
Rule number one is if you are not 100% sure, don't go through with the deal. People do need to take actions to protect themselves and no matter how good a feedback system is if you rely on it 100% it will let you down as it only shows what has happened in the past, it cannot predict what someone will do in the future.

@scotty is right, no need imo for 2 traders thread. the + and - marks are enough. next to it, esato isnt like gaybay, the esato trader thread is enough.

I also suggest that sellers are FORCED to have a pic of the item with their name or something.
I dont think thats right, if I had to that I would simply not try to sell on here, I have respectable feedback on esato and am a powerseller on gaybay, why should I have to put a name next to my pics? nt guna run off with 200 quid when I can make that in less then a hour...

I dont think a middle man can help with this one, not even I have enought time to govern all trades going on with esato

Not to be rude, but I say tough.
Just as we should be cautious of new sellers, new buyers should be able to show caution when buying.
So far, I've seen quite a number of threads where known sellers have sold things that were not as described. (most just shrug it off and don't complain).
Don't act proud of yourself, this system will help the whole forum over all.
At the end of the day the system is to help promote equality and security.
Taking a picture of the item takes TWO seconds.

I dont think Lukes opposed to the picture taking idea, as he already takes pics of stuff he sells on here most of the time i think its the fact of sticking a bit of paper with your name and date, i think sellers like Luke, Solidsingh and even myself have good enough feedback to warrent not having to stick a bit of paper with our usernames and date on

Even though you are all great traders i think everybody should have to post a picture with their name and date on it, no matter what their feedback is. Fair is fair, can't have one rule for some people and another for the rest.

Well then what would the trusted traders list be proving?
If it aint proving that we have a good reputation and can be "Trusted" so that we dont have to go to the extremes of writing our names and date on then what is it doing?

Proving that aswell as posting pictures that you also have good communication, post items on time, keep people updated etc etc.
All i am saying is if you going to have a rule then it must be the same for everybody, if you and other people do not want to post pictures with your username and date then nobody else should either.
But i think it would be best for everybody to do this, least then people would feel more at ease buying from newer sellers and it will reduce the chance of everybody being scammed.
Nobody can say they don't want that right?
