Hi all,
Apologies as i could of sworn when it was first announced as coming soon the spec on the SE site said QuickOffice and PDF viewer but now it doesn't. Just Opera Web Browser and E-mail on checking further the only items it will sync is Calendar, Contacts, Notes, Tasks and that its it it won't sync E-mail and although you would think QuickOffice or Doc's2 Go would work they don't appear available on the SE site. It does appear that by giving this phone the W affix it has lost some of its business powers in favour of the Walkman player.
Can any one please tell what the difference between this Walkman player and the Music Player in the M600 as the M600 does have MegaBass and an equaliser just not adjustable other than presets.

??The Quickoffice thing confuses me too. I contacted SE last week & they said that Quickoffice will be pre-installed on the W950. Can anyone with a W950 confirm that? ?As for the availability of Docs2Go, I'm certain once the W950 is widely available the Application Shop will support it.?W950 player supports Track ID, as well as track ratings & album art.

The reason i posted was the new owner of the W950 stated no QuickOffice or PFD viewer is installed. Check out the W950 @ the SE site and they have some interesting guides showing the phones abilities and what it will and won't do. It does look like you will have to purchase an Office app if you need it and i can get 1gb M2 cards for £40 to reach 4gb of storage so unless i am missing something about the Walkman player this does seem an expensive M600 IMO.

Dogman, w950 sound quality should be way better than m600, same has w810 sound quality is better than k800 or k750, or n91 sound quality is better than n80
Plus you got FM radio with rds, more advanced than P990´s, judging by the menu pics i saw (same goes to the media player)
Finally, i´m sure Documents to Go will work in it

Thanks for that forgot about the Radio as don't use it, not really sure just how much better than M600 and HBH-DS970's can get well not for my ears anyway 75% volume and just left on noraml preset no Megabass is more than good enough for my needs. But as i have said elsewhere it does apperar the M600 and W950 are aimed are slightly diffrerent users the M600 being more buisness orieantated with a good Music Player whilst the W950 is a great Walkman phone with e-mail and web just targeted at slightly different users.
