Was on the phone to Voda on the same lines. They are sending a replacement in the post tomorrow first thing but apparently its a refurb unit.

Not too happy about that but will decide to keep it when it arrives. If i get some rickety creaking POS then i guess i'd have to be happy with re-flashes every fortnight until a new FM is released.

This guy Mario peeps on this forum on regular basis and seems get malicious pleasure when hear something bad about P990 or M600. That says a lot about how much he is satisfied with his nokia (if I saw it correctly) since he needs constant self assurance that other phones are bad. So funny lol, actually like this guy.

@koto,
He is not nearly as funny as you and your perfect P990 cause that is a laugh.

@Dogmman
lol I am funy, Mario is fany and Dogmman is funy, agree with that.
Is seams that you too find very annoying that somebody is satisfied with the phone that you consider bs or crap. And I never said that my phone is perfect, but am satisfied with a good reason that I explain in my posts. Nor do I talk bad about other phones or tell unsatisfied SE users that they are wrong, far from it. What Mario does is obvious to everybody no need for an explanation. And it is funy for me.

Yet you still feel the need to justify your statements and opinions whilst ignoring everything else that is said on all the Forums as just jealous rantings by SE haters. I suggest you check the other Symbian based Forums where some very well respected people with good contacts in SE are also reaching the same conclusions and have had enough. But then of course every one else is wrong aren't they?

To justify one's opinion and share one's experience and satisfaction with others are two totaly diferent things, but you don't know what I am talking about, don't you.
Ignoring everything else. This time you don't know what are you talking about. Yourself had IMO some very nice, objective and understandable description of UIQ3 problems which I supported and will again agree with it.

But I don't want to argue with you any more. People like you would just call simple satisfied users fun boys and think they are so wise, so there is no point in arguing.

Is your sim free? Cos the voda brandy does not help it at all, none of the operator firmwares help it, they just make things worse.

Yeah, Voda sim free. You reckon i can get a regular flash to generic? I'd like that idea.

@Popolou
You are not currently able to put Generic firmware on a branded phone, and good luck with "I just want a working P990 for Xmas" as the week 48 update is now not due till some time in January.
