ok lets see ,having played around with the p990 for a month now i can safely say hardwarewise there is NO substitute for the p990 .Its very convenient for single handed usage more than any other smartphone of its calibre on the market plus its very solid .On the other hand softwarewise it loses a lot of ground to various HTC smartphones and their clones bcoz the p990s technology and its implementation (while innovative compared to the p910) on the not so stable UIQ3 seems a bit behind the times

no wifi? not good. using gprs would cost to much... i 've seen the palm. it's nice looking but no wifi is not good enough for now. am i right?
I know that till now thre's still nothing compare with P990 but in case no firmware could make it work as we hope that we should make some alternative right? it's very annoying that even opening agile for an hour and then a call coming u, the program will close itself. it's really give me bad time...

No way for N93, as it hasn't got a QWERTY keyboard...see, when I'm editing Word and Excel files on a smartphone, I don't like typing in every letter in style of SMS writing...
Besides, N93 is so big, that it would deserve a separate backpack

Stability of wm5? Compared to a p990? I've had wm5 devices, and although they need to reboot here and there, it's stable like a rock compared to my p990. I've never had a phone that consistently reboots itself.

DOnt go jumping from frying pan to fire. I went to M600i from windows mobile and I'd have to say that M600i is more stable.

I can understand leaving P990i - the reports of instability have put me off it - but I think you'd be wiser to head over to Nokia territory. Not Windows Mobile. I'd never go back. These devices here are phones first and then PDA - Windows mobile still fundamentally makes PDA's and then tacks on a cheap, bad sounding voice module onto them.

@ PhoenixSpiri
That may be the case for you and what you perceive for the N93 but as a N93 user i can enter data and do anything i want(with T9 turned off as i hate it) and the phone in Laptop mode so the keypad is not even correctly orientated. My data entry may not be 100 wpm but is good enough for my needs. The N93 also does much more much quicker IMO and is no where near as large as some of you like to think either. But like everything this is down to personal choice and preference as to what you wish to own and use. All i can say is if the P990 was half as fast and stable as the N93 we wouldn't even be having these type of discussions well week 48 is upon us so lets see what SE have up their sleeve.

@common
"Comment: As an E70 owner (and ex-P910 owner) this is an interesting comparison to see. My own experiences with previous S60 devices vs the P910 was that S60 might be down on features compared to UIQ, but it is invariably simpler and more stable - 2 factors of primary importance with any mobile device and especially a phone.

The P990 will be the shot that sank the UIQ ship. Late, expensive and buggy. they got away with it for the P800 as there was no competition. This time, as you have shown, things are very different!"

"Comment: Good comparison! Thanks. And I had use almost the three (SE 910) and for me the winner is also E70!"

wow. good review, so E70 in the list.... anything else?
