i know... its such a shame not having the cool visualization in p990's player. so no way of porting the music app of w950 to p990?
I guess if we had all that kind of visualization on the P990, the battery would only last for 1 song... or 5 minutes at max.
Find it soooo strange tha SE included such a baby battery in the "big buy" - and even stranger to see that they also removed the BST-34 from the accessory list. Seems like they stopped the production...

You can "want" all you want, but it ain't ever going to happen. If SE was smart, they would have it locked down. You can always buy a third party .mp3 player. The w950, M600i, and P990 are three phones designed for different markets and market segments. This is quite obvious don't you think?

If you are willing to buy something, why not start with a third party application .mp3 player and be done with it. SE probably has the .mp3 player locked down tight as they should. Going on and on will not make it happen for you. If you want the player then buy the w950 and then be set.

No, but the P990 is a power hungry machine, and - why put in a battery with even less capasity than the P900 & P910 ? Doesn't make sense to me. Perhaps it has something to do with the battery recalls and explosions we hear about
The 990 should be a top-of-the-line phone, with power enough to outrun all the other SE phones, being able to run all software from the others, or even emulate whatever SE phone you want

Agree - however - the P990 is still not yet good enough for the Pro marked it's targeting. I use it myself, but hoped to put away the Ipaq - something I still cannot do. The P990 have many fw/memory problems that makes it unreliable. Can't even trust it to connect to IMAP servers for getting mails. Crashes, stops, hangs... no - too much sillyness still to be called a PRO phone.
Therefore - with more battery capasity - at least we could play with it a bit more
