@Siosal, are you sure you have no hissing? They say it is most obvious when the volume is set to a low level, like 1 or so.
Man, this is confusing

I am really confused to. Had the noise on my old W800 and on my new W810. Can only hear it at low volume like 1… Had it removed with FAR on my W800. So it’s not the quality of the mp3-file. I could hear the difference by using the same music-files. Don’t know why somebody don’t have it, but I know I have it. Maybe I shout by a W810 in South Africa…

LOL you read my mind!!
They say the hiss came with a fix for a distortion problem. Did you notice any distortion in w800 (after you fixed the fix

) ? I think distortion is not as bad as a constant hiss on the background?

For those of you using the latest firmware and not noticing a hiss. Get some classical music with plenty of soft parts. Get out your earphones and start playing. When the soft parts come, you'll notice a hiss in the background, like someone is recording it with a cheap microphone. Very annoying. Those of you who 1) do not use your headphones 2) listen to your music on high volume 3) Listen to music that is always loud, like scream or hard rock 4) have been diagnosed with a hearing problem will not notice the hissing. Others of us surely do.
There is a fix, guys. Go over to SE-NSE. Download PhoneXS. Read the tutorial on how to add new drivers. And your hissing will disappear!

Wow, this is a CID49 tweaker isn't it? Does it cure the hiss? What about the distortion?

@lastikcizme
The first FW on my W800 didn’t have the hiss (R1L002). Think it came when the released a FW who turned up the volume (R1N035). It means that in the first FW the volume was so low that you could not hear the hiss. Think the hiss always has bin there, but only my theory!
Don’t know exactly what distortion problem you mention, but haven’t notice any distortion after the fix…
