How much data did you send / receive to run up a £400 bill ?!?!?

My o2 contract includes 1mb in the price. After this it is £3.00 per meg or I can get a bolt-on for £3 which adds 2mb onto my original 1mb (something I will probably do. Using push email seems to push a fair bit of data back and forth).

Does your contract not include any browsing?

No it did not include data bundles but i had browsed before almost the same usage and i only had 2 pounds charges so i just dont understand it but as you also say 3 pounds per megabyte its still just very pricey and a total rip off. I will never do it again. I dont think O2 contracts are the good value they once were. 3 is the best value but their network is poo.

did you do alot of downloads, music etc? Something I always wonder is if MMS messages eat into your data usage aswel as your txt msg usage. Is this the case?

I agree that T-Mobile and 3 provide decent Data plans. I have added Web n Walk Plus to my contract at only £12 extra, and get up to 3GB a month data allowance. Although this does not allow for VOIP, it allows pretty much all else.

Allows me to use Push IMAP, which i feel is better than the Blackberry service, as it removes the middle man, if your IMAP servers support it (most do).

Guess what my O2 bill which is now standing at 614.85 is now being written off along with all my other debts. People i am telling you i left my job due to high levels of stress after 9 years and i never had another job so my 9,000 pounds worth of debt is now being written off as i am going bankrupt. Not an easy thing to do but i have had bad luck since i left so O2 are not getting their money. Sorry O2. Not.

I've never been charged by o2 in the last 4 years and I've had some GPRS hungry phones.

Hopefully they'll won't realise.

Aww man that sucks! I have a SIM where I get everything for free, local, national, international calls as well as 3G data. Must go through like a gig a month. I actually can't imagine paying in the region of 200 quid for the privilege!
