T300 has 400k memory for the user and it doesn't have java. It plays games with an application designed by mophun and uses only 10k of memory. It is designed only for games. I read that on t300/302 white paper and mophun white paper.

java will be worth if a user want to install/uninstall games or same application that will assist them when they are on the move. BTW it CANNOT enchance your mobile internet eperience....JAVA is a programming language that planned to be write once and use in all platform (not suceed in mobile phone yet)...It have nothing to do with internet...it is just a conincident that a lot of web site using java aplet as it is small and allow a lot of small app to be included in one website only
Like Yapliren mentioned, if it is just for the sake of having it and then show off to others that you have a phone with java, then forget about an upgrd to it.
for me, it would be a good deal as I am still waiting for T300 which offer almost the same function mentioned in this forum (of course it is not java like mentioned before). Plus it have bluetooth that allow me to keep my BT headset.

Yapliren - In my opinion, java capabilities really extend the fundamental functionality of the phone. With java, you can add specialized applications specific to your needs. While browsing the selection of java apps available for Motorola's color i95cl flip phone, I was impressed to see a wide variety of apps useful to people of various professions. To illustrate, contractors and carpenters can download a Stairs Calculator app that can be "used for building stairs to calculate information needed to cut notches in a stringer for the treads and risers, given the total rise and run of the stairway and a suggested riser height." See what I mean? This type of app is just not appropriate to install into everyone's phone, but for carpenters with java-enabled phones, it's just a download away.
See for yourself...

Poly ring signals would be nice to have. Tired of the tones currently offered.
