@Ranjith - Well...I listened to music on my k750 for about 6 months. Then I want a better media player, and when I bought a w850, I felt myself very disappointed. I'm listening rock music all the time, but I can't do this, if the volume is so low + there are small poppings in the background and the 2.0 walkman player on that screen size is totally crap (beacuse the album art) . I sold my w850 and bought a w950. I didn't care about the camera anymore, all I want is just a good and loud music phone, but again the w950 has its own bugs with the audio quality, now with the video player too AND the low volume problem.So I decided to buy a HBH-DS970 (It was an original). That headset was the biggest mistake that i've done in this whole thing...Can't play videos + short battery life, and of course low volume. With the k750, i didn't have any of these ! (Never used the megabass eq, for about more than 10 minutes...)
I converted the amount of money to USD that i lose with all of this walkman branding.(I live in hungary) It's 534 USD...100.000 Hungarian Forint (1 USD = 187.182 HUF) (:
Now I know, that the Walman branding is just a lie and a very good business. Buy an ipod or something rather ! :=DDD
Edit: Ohh, and whats with the support ? disc2phone is a piece of sh*t and SE don't know any of the problems that i asked from them.

ok...eventhough i have a 850 in my family,i have never used it,its my sisters...so cant really comment.
but my w800 is perfect!
and do you think its worth upgrading from my w800 to a w950?

There are tons of other brands which are really better.
Topic is about differences between SE phones and stand alone mp3 players.
BMW is not the only car maker, so is not the apple for mp3 players.
And don't put words audiophile and iPod in the same sentence, please.

@refugee - Yes, there are quite good other mp3players, like Creative Zen Etc.
