ok then... either way i only use phones from se & nokia. i am using a se phone right now so my next phone will be a nokia, then se, then nokia etc.

It seems the US will be the next big push for SE but even then it won't be selling CDMA phones' so its success is already pretty limited, however its Walkman series is being received quite well of late so hopefully it will be a sign of things to come.
With Nokia having a huge 70%+ market share through selling cheap handsets in the massive Indian market, and itself and Moto dominating the African markets it seems that SE will have to take a huge chunk of this in order bump up its own share and it looks like the tie-up with SAGEM is part of this strategy.
Elsewhere, it seems its market share is growing but not at the expense of Nokia, not in the UK anyway, Moto is struggling right now to hold on to what its got.

If we look at sales figures rather than sold units, SE is at 3:d place i.e. they sell less number of units than Samsung, but earn more money, which I think is a better deal.

how u mean se earns more money with less sale? imo se fones are way to overpriced, maybe thats why. and then, the se fones fone prices suddenly drop and thats a big problem. just look at w880, its way too expensive, offers less features as k750.

Example:
SE sells one phone and earns 1000 USD.
Samsund sells 2 phones and earns 800 USD.
SE have sold fewer units, but earned more money.

SE has much better margins on their products (one of the best in their class actually), if that's what you mean.
The price the market is willing to pay for a product is always the right price and the SEs sales figures up to now seem to indicated their products are correctly priced (otherwise they would neither increase their marker share nor their earning) no matter what your and mine opinions are.

i get your point, but then how comes that samsung has 3 times more marketshare then se? samsung is following the nokia way, everyday a new fone, but look at se and again w880. they launch a fone, and focusing at features, less then a 2 years old model, k750... where is here the advantage and development?

I quite agree with BobaFett. Se's been releasing phones with no new features at all. W880 is a....feature-less phone. It doesn't even have radio(a "walkman" phone). But the point here is the 3g phones.

I know 3g phones wont have any success here in Dominican Republic at the moment. We have EDGE and that makes me
. Orange Dominicana has not implemented 3g with its six years in the dominican market yet without any reason.
