Yes a tri band phone will work any where a gsm sys exists. Most carriers in Canada will lock their phones. They also will not activate phones not purchased from them. The exception being the Chinese dealers. One other thing one need to consider is the warrantee. Here in HK SE is very strict about servicing phones not purchased through official channels in HK. I presume EID is a trade show in UAE. When is it? Do u guys think the images on the P800 in Die Another Day will be real? This post was posted from a T68i

I think they named P800 cause its gonna cost something within that range..in USD ofcourse..
i would say anything around 3000 AED. little less maybe
