i personally dont like mega bass

people who like mega bass feature "to me" is for people who still cant distinguish good quality music and bad quality music

and so? i dont care if mega bass boost the bass... and still it really don't sound good

i personally love hearing trance, techno, house

hearing these kind of these genre i have to admit that you have to consider the bass

but the problem in mega bass is it dont have the right set on equalizer. all it does is boost the bass to me and that thing really sucks

I kinda agree with u there but mega bass surely doesnt suck.

It would have been better if megabass was an extra option on top of an adjustable equaliser this would make things even better.

You have to remember for a mobile phone I would say the sound quality is still overkill. I would say one of the most exciting and exuberating extra features ive come across.

I have both songs and yes, I agree, they sound great with MegaBass

And thanks for all replies guys. I guess MegaBass is useful but it depends on the sound and the volume

@dayz, I agree 100% with what you say. When you're an audiophile, the megabass sucks. I NEVER use it. You loose all the details of the song. Audiophiles would call it loose, boomy and muddy bass. What you want is tight, clean bass that is punchy.
I listen to trance, rave music, progressive house and techno too.

I think walkman phones are overated. Besides the branding, they don't do squat in terms of sound quality! I USED to think they were "OK" but ever since I've become an audiophile forum addict, I've upgraded to higher end gear and barely reach for my phone anymore when it comes to music. The flaws really become apprent when you're used to better quality gear. I using tweaked acousitic drivers, I can't imagine going back to stock acoustic drivers. Yuck. I have to agree though that its still a very portabe solution when on the move, but I hate them for using the fast port.

Maybe I'm asking too much out of a phone. *Puts on flame retardent suit*

But back to the topic, MegaBass sucks, its provides muddy and boomy bass. I prefer the custom EQ.
