How could you be so heartless above poster didnt look at user.
I remember a guy called daniel middleton who was the school captain of my high school and he was at da local lake with his gf and he was swimming accross the lake wif her and he just went under and didnt come back up i cant remember why he drowned but i think it was a cramp.
I would jump in after my phone, im a good swimmer and a lake should be no problem. Although the phone unless lit up would be hard to find.

It really were the phone was situated and what the conditions of the lake were. If the phone was floating obviouly i would get it because im a good swimmer. But you have to remember what conditions the lake was in. If it was a strong flow of water I would never attempt it. If the phone sunk I wouldnt either. The phone would proberly be bummed aswell. Loads of people are saying how there "advanced swimmers", im a very good swimmer but if its a tide I would never attempt it. I think a lot of you have forgotten how tough water is!! Its trillons of times tougher and heavy then the average man! It will proberly way a ton per meter. Water and nature is the toughest force there is. Arien know offence dude but I dont care how much of an "advance swimmer" you are but your making it sound like you would dive it all conditions. If the conditions were shite and you jumped in as you make out you would, it would be remarkable if you got out the water and not in a bodybag. Thats the harsh reality and power of water AND know one can escape that.
I give my deepest condolances to the boys family and freinds. But NO phone is worth dieing for. All this shit about data.. no matter what shit you have on it or what model you have, no phone is worth dieing for. Think about what a risk and sackrafise that would be, to your life and your family.
