PS - my firmware still says Rogers but I think its unbranded.

Just wanted to give this thread a bump.
Current status now is phone is working great like a champ. now playback hissing issues even with my 1mth old HBH-DS970 over BT or Wired stock stereo headsets.
I cannot update via the latest Zeus or even directly on the phone via EDGE data connection with full battery.

SEUS shows of course I've got the latest, same over EDGE connection. I got a feeling that because my customization doesn't fully match my firmware this prevents me from updating.
