It does have the 2 main profiles, general and silent mode and the # shortcut to change between them, which is all I ever use.

What I'm not too happy about is the missing play/pause button. If se had put play/pause as an option for the @ shortcut would have been good but I guess they want you to buy a remote.

One of my main concerns is Opera 8. Opera 9 has iphone scrolling, widgets and its unlikely you'd be able to buy opera 9 separately even if you wanted to. For op 8, I've seen the shortcuts and theres refresh, back would be backspace but what's the shortcut for forward? And is there a way to do complete fullscreen, without the 3 buttons at the bottom?

The biggest flows are no profiles, no call recording, and no HSDPA/quadband GSM.

nah, you can't record a call on m600

in act this is another one of those features that has never been present on any SE symbian phone except by using 3rd party apps

can you point me in the direction of some of these apps please because I really want to buy it but call recording is a deal breaker

also call recording isnt illegal dont be silly and there are still many phones that let you do it

Well this must be the 'problems page' regarding the P1i. Like i said from the other thread, i just can't pass the startup screen. It would just restart(to improve perfromance) after selecting either the Phone on or Flight mode. Ive tried doing a master reset but after thee reset it still does it again, also i checked seus if there was an update available for it(flash the sw clean) but nothing. My last option is to have it replaced the first thing this morning.

proximo, you won't find any 3rd party SE UIQ3 call recorders, because it's blocked by hardware.

Anybody who takes a closer, unbiased look on the P1i will realize that it's basically just the P990 hardware base (announced in 2005) with the M600 screen and keyboard, a newer camera module and a 128MB RAM module to patch the biggest problem of the lemon P990. Meanwhile in 2007 in this price category HSDPA/quadband, 802.11g WiFi, 16M color screens and 300MHz or faster CPUs are the standard. It's a patched P990 so instead of selling this 2005/06 technology for that price, SE should just hand over it for free to the P990 victims who have bought it at full price and then struggled with it for a year.

Upgraded M600? What's there now is all there's going to be. SE announced no more updates for the M600. It's marked End Of Life.

I meant i will buy the upgraded M600 - i.e. P1 or p2 or P3 or whichever is more similar to M600...
