Great thank you again, could you explain to me what these are for?
-ExpressCard/34 slot
-glossy widescreen display (how is this better than the normal one?)
-DVI output port

Also is there anyway to connect a xbox 360 to the screen? Basically I'm going uni and dont want to bring my TV with me.

Oh and one more thing the macbook pro, does it come with anything that acts like a TV tuner?

1 - its like the old style pcmia cards or whatever its called, in mine I have a 4 in one card reader
2 - user preference, I like matt as it doesnt shine in my eyes and is better in sunlight
3 - if you want to connect an external monitor
4 - not to usre really, I spose u could use a tv tuner if you had a tv input on the mac
5 - yes there is look an the apple site its called migalo or sumin like that, I actually have one and it works a treat and is very small

p.s. dont bother waiting for the new os, tis not comfirmed that the new lappys will ship with it for a few months anyway, and its likely they introduce one before the other to make as much £ possible

ps.s. if ou really want leopard pm me I have just been playing with it

- ExpressCard/34 slot

That's for pluging in external devices. Read about it here.

Glossy screens have richer deeper colours, but are more reflective. It's down to personal choice whether you prefer a glossy or matt screen. Best thing to do is look at them side by side and decide for yourself.

-DVI output port

DVI is a Digital Visual Interface and allows you to plug the MacBook Pro into hi-resolution digital monitors, Plasma and LCD TVs. Being digital its much better quality than analogue VGA style connectors.

Don't know about that... I would guess not without an external video in source.

Doesn't come with one, but can be easily added via a USB Stick such as this.

Macs are better value than Vaio's thats for sure, and are not unreasonably priced and specced these days.
However there are some high end Vista running Laptops that can give a mac a run for it's money if your still M$ inclined :0.

You can get Limewire for Mac, but there are better alternatives.

Microsoft Messenger for Mac 6.0.2 is available from here. But again there are better alternatives.

PC Suite? You mean the Sony Ericsson PC Suite? There isn't a Mac version, but you won't need it anyway. Everything you need to sync your phone, or transfer data to and from it is built-in to the operating system.

Have a look at my site http://mobile.feisar.com/ for all your Sony Ericsson and Mac goodies.
