had a M700 for a few days before selling it on and I really liked it.
Has all the gear on it but as in all windows phones the camera, although 2 megapixels was nowhere near as good as say the K750i.

Built in GPS was far superior to the N95, using a Sirf III chipset and tomtom 6 worked flawlessly on it.

The M3100 (which I am currently using) is virtually exactly the same except no gps built in, the M700 is also smaller and has no slide out keypad.

Hi , if you could wait a month then you can get a Kaiser(Vario 3 or m3200 lol) that's basically same as M3100 with extra ram & gps & you can adjust the screen position !

It depends what kind of phone type (stick/candy bar, slide/clam or touchscreen/smart) and specifications you want plus the functions you would use on it, camera, music, video calling, video etc/

I had a hard choice of what phone to choose for my upgrade. I had a Sony Ericsson W800i (which i still have!) but didn't really used the Walkman part of my W800i much and sometimes use the camera, so basically it was just a phone i really needed to make calls, text sometimes mms and use the WAP/check my e-mails on.

I prefered the more "stick/candy bar" type phones rather then the clam/slide and small/slim ones as i know and can feel it being there. I also wanted to stay with SE previously having other SE handsets. So i finally decided to move to the K series and get the K810i and upgraded my memory card to a Scandisk 1GB and i am very happy with it!

Thanks for your inoput folks....

Im going for the HTC touch.... and if i dont like it i'll send her back
I have the SPV M1000 years ago and loved it apart from a few niggles which have i think been soprted now

and yes, no P1i on orange - not for a while anyway (and possibly not ever)... and thats from oranges mouth..... also they havent even got the w960 or k860 on their systems so well done orange - youre officially the pooeyest network ever....

Im stuck with orange because basically ive been with them for about 8-9 years and the tarrif theyve offered me seems amazing

3000 anytime mins
unlimited texts
£45

is that worth staying with orange for???? bare in mind i usually spend on average £150+ a month on bills.....

Well it would be hard to give up a tariff like that - unless you had your jaws wired shut.

3000 minutes?

that is pretty good isnt it? i was tryiong for more, as im getting the htc touch free, i asked if i could get a second phone also (lol)... and my argument was that texting would be hard (and why have unlimited texts knowing its gonna be difficult to text but she wasnt buying it.....

although i am gonna try and knock the line rental down or at leats get free insurance we'll see what happens i guess...

i was gonna get orange broadband but that seems liek it'll be more trouble than its worth...
