I've had the same problem with my T68m. 2/3rd of the incoming calls would go to voicemail without my phone even ringing, and when I tried to make a call it would usually just give one beep and not even connect.
I sent it in to a SE service center and they just put on the SW upgrade - it was fine for a few months. I had it converted to the T68i SW and it was fine for about 2 months - then it started all over. Another SE service center just put on R5D007, and it lasted for about 3 weeks.. same problem. I just sent it in again with the clear demand not to just replace the SW, but to replace the whole phone - we'll see how that goes.
