a higher capacity battery would never make a device faster!

it would merely give it a longer life between recharges

For simple average usage(i.e. music player, camera, texting), P990 is good, as shown by the number of users here in baguio city philippines but what really caught my attention was that i could hardly finc P1 users here even though P1 is far more stable than P990 when it comes to system performance maybe because P1 is still expensive here. although once P3 is announced P1i's price would drop significantly as P990 did.

i asked the same question about six weeks ago and some folks here were kind enough to let me know the real score of the p990... at first i was hesitant too, with all the bugs, complaints, etc... but i'm glad i followed their advice and got one, and i must say i'm satisfied, yes there are times the p9 has its flaws, but nothing serious, i'm not much of a multi-tasker kind of guy, so the p9's ram issues does not concern me... i love the phone's camera, music player with megabass ( got myself an hpm-82+in-ear creative ep630 and the sound rocks)...

even newer phones (SE and other companies) cannot match with the p9's features as far as bang for the buck is concerned and like what others said, its a basic phone when flip closed, and a pda in open flip... i think it may be the last phone that will have this option... if you can get a warrantied one, better buy that one, i got mine probably 4k++ more expensive but its better since its got one year parts and service warranty

So i guess you're a former palm os user aren't you? since Palm's biggest flaw is the lack of multitasking capability

How's the media player? is it like the p1i interface? or like the k800i? does it have megabass? how would you rate sound quality? because i'm planning to buy 2GB mspd with it.
