Just do a scan from the wlan dialog then select the open network and click connect.

With wlan enabled you should be able to simply open the web and browse - any open networks connect automatically - or they should anyway.

I had my P1 since monday. I really like it, more than my M600 but there's an issue about the most important feature that I've been missing a lot in my M600: wifi.
Now, the P1 is way better in every detail, even if i like the M600 look a bit more.
The wifi really makes the difference. The memory wap not an issue, due to my way of using the mobile.

But is there a good reason to explain why it took me a few hours to set up a working connection while it has been extremely simple to do it on a Nokia E51, HTC S620, Nintendo DS and Wii, a WinXP laptop, a MacBook and probably more?
There must be a good reason to disable my Belkin DHCP, using only static IP addresses...

Ok, now it's working and it's pretty much fast and stable as well.

I've been missing the SE excitement quite a lot... Very nice smartphone, but my Nokia E51 is a great phone too...
