That's what I said «SIRF STAR III chipset, as it's the best»
Of couse it can be with any other older chips, but I don't recomend it since I everybody knows how bad the GPS signal can get on large cities.

Most people agree that Tom Tom is the best GPS software for cars.

Personally i found tomtom more easy to use than garmin... but on the rest garmin is better. Its just a matter of tastes cause they are the 2best choices

And just to clear things about tomtom maps for wm6, uiq and so on.... they indeed are both the same. But if you already have one you cant use it on other different device type unless you get another activate code ( you have to pay again. lol)

Ha ha, I knew there was something specific about the UIQ versus WM6.

I heard that you can't use at BT headset to send recive calls with the Garmin SW enabled is this true?

I can't really comment on that yet as I'm still waiting for the full europe version to be available before I buy it... and I'll be buying the WM version for my TyTN II with inbuilt GPS anyway so prob won't be able to answer

however, on P1 I'll be surprised if the software would cause this limitation and if this is a problem then surely it would be the same for tomtom?

I don't know, but the person who said that might have had Bluetooth powersave enabled. That way the phone will only connect to one Bluetooth device at a time.
