You can't expect them to know everything.
It's like currys, my dad used to moan that the people working there knew nothing.....thats because they don't teach the poor 20yr olds shit about dishwashers and washing machines!

But there's a difference between not telling the customer the geeeky crap and telling the customer a pack of lies. I went into a '3' shop and asked about K850i and they said 'well all the other 2g networks will have it earlier because ours have to be compatibble with 3g networks and ours will have the better technology'. Whaaat? I openly laughed at him, told him that the phones have exactly the same trasmitters in whichever network they're on (his face dropped) and I walked away. I would love to work in a mobile phone shop but the pay just wouldn't be as good as what I get in IT tech-ing.

Notice a trend everyone...
all of us have experienced lies form salesmen in phone stores.
Its nice though, when you know in your own head they are bulshitting you.
at the end of the day, at least your not one of those poor guys or girls who genuinly no nothing about the handsets, and take this pack of lies as truth.
