No special interface. You plug the phone to your PC via a standard USB cable (a short cable provided) and the phone will appear as two memory sticks: one for the 128MB internal memory and the other for your microSD card. Create a folder called MP3 on the memory stick and dump all your songs in there.
BTW: the largest microSD card supported is 1 GB. But you wouldn't put thousands of songs anyway there would you, with the phone only supporting a single playlist?

how is the player volume?
what about the battery when listenting to music?
the w800(same as k750) and k800 are great in that matter..wondering if its the same for the 902?
and again,no need to more than one playlist.
thanks.

I don't play enough music on my phone so I can't tell how this affects battery life.
The volume is loud enough for me as I use the provided Sony MDR-EX71SL earplugs and these block out most outside noise.

the volume isnt too loud (i use standard earphones due to them being louder than the in-ear bass ones), but not too bad. I noticed quite a difference from the K800 in sound quality, but you get used to it and its fine. Once you start using the camera youll be content with the mp3 player!
