yeah looks good, and i just officially complained to SE for the p990, which will lead to it being exchanged for p1i. so let's see.

Then, my upgrade policy on phone is quite tight (used to be very loose) and P1 doesn't offer enough benefits compared to p990, so that won't get my money. I got Kaiser because it had noticeable features that are on my list for next phone (gps, 3G+, ram).

edit : is tomtom faster on P1i ? I was stunned how well it runs on kaiser, as if another piece of software.

well...i donīt see any special differences regarding tomtom...i runs ok for me, like it did on p990...not fast like it should be on the tytn due to the processor speed...but, the P1 advantage over the P990 is that you can have a big load of apps more running at same time besides tt

@c0mm0n, I have to say I agree with your views on P990. Just recently when SE was replacing my P990, I could have asked for a P1 but still decided to go with the P990 for several reasons - and I'm happy with my choice so far.
One handed use - thus the flip - is important for me, combined with bigger screen and lens cover, as opposed to more RAM, still made the P990 the first choice for me. As long as it is one of the "good" P990s, looks like it may still be my choice for some time to come.

I had a Tytn for quite a while, and I chose to go for a P990i even though I'd loose the HSDPA.

The tytn was so unstable that when browsing, it would randomly loose signal, drop calls and crash as well. Believe it or not, my P990i was actually more stable than the Tytn, and allowed me to surf quicker as it didn't crash or drop signal all the time!

That was my second WM device (I had the T Mobile vario as well) and probably my last - stability is pretty important to me, and I can't deal with constant restarts.
