Hey,
While purchasing first make sure you tell the dealer that YOU will open the case,
1. Make sure the entire box is plastic sealed.
2. Inside make sure that there is a 3-D hologram stuck,carefully see the entire box and check if it is brand new.
3. Once you insert the SIM card press *#06# and note the IMEI no. and check if it correspondes to the number given outside.
4. Press >*

Well i bought my K850i from CPW Last week and 2 b honest i don't have any problems with the phone at all (it's blue one with O2) So yeah had it for a week now and no problems. So my advice will be GO FOR IT ! Get ur self K850i

K850 is a nice phone. In my opinion, they've brought back the concept of integrating the "cybershot" and the "walkman" brands much like the K750 and the W800.

hello guys today i went to sony shop and had a hand on the k850i, hmm now only i got to know why all are saying k850i is bad, yes its little bit doggy and slow, reaction is very slow,i couldnt judge the camera because iam rookie,but the working of the phone is not that good,its not upto the mark,i dont think new firmware could do the justice to the phone,sony has to bring new k850i 2 newly with new hardware.
saw w910i also yeah its good it has all features what k850i has, camera is also good in the day, working is very smooth, keypad surely it will take a week to handle it properly,other than phone is good.
I dono what is sony ericsson doing without solving the problems of k850i,iam a new fan of this Esato forum i read all post daily without fail i could see only the problems of k850i i think users of this forum can write a big bug report to sony.
