eeeehhhh..

this last test is one of the most accurated test ive read, they tested nearly everything, (landscape, night, low light, indoor, flash, etc)...(its between..LG, N95, K850 & G600)

yes..k850 won with some points over N95..because it manage night, low, indoor pics better and had better camera features.

U should've posted it, because you are known for talking only about the negatives of Sony Ericsson.

Looking at the comparison between them all from the link in the first post, I wonder if all were taken from the same spot. IE, in the shot with the writing on the wall (IDNES.CZ) I notice that the K850 had a much wider range in the pic, like it isnt 'pre zoomed' or something. Im still trying to decide if thats a good thing... I know that zooming in doesnt give the same definition as at 0 zoom and if you wanted to get a little closer then you would have to walk closer If you get what I mean... Not cool if you are on holiday on a tourist bus or something for example...

Do you just go from review site to review site trashing SE and promoting Nokia? Do they pay you? This is the second review site that I've seen you trashing SE as best you can. Oh yeah look at the "idnes.cz" sign pic for classic inaccurate nokia color reproduction. I suppose LG, Samsung, SE all got it wrong and the nokia is "in a class of its own".

Photos are there for everyone to see. If photos are bad, then they are just bad. No thrashing required. So what do you expect?? ...sweep anything crap about SE under the carpet?

wrt to "in class..." statement, I am only refering to daylight pictures.

The following reviews (where K850 did not come out on top ) also did the full range of test. Maybe you chose not to see it.

Hi all,

Could one of you please explain to just how or why the one or two reviews that state the K850 are great are the only ones to count then? Why are those couple of reviews dead right and all the others wrong then and there are more of them?

If you look just on this forum where for some of you have no problems for lots of others they do have and their not all branded either? This belief some of you exhibit that anything SE does is always the best may have been how it was in the past but unfortunately is no longer true.

Or do you view anyone that no longer blindly supports and accepts SE products as a traitor? because if so that really is worrying both for you and SE.

I would be happy to bet there are currently more members that have found themselves not using a SE to be at all time high. We call came here for our love and desire for Ericsson and SE products and if many of us are no longer buying them that really is serious. Go read the Sorry SE blew it thread to see what once loyal and long term SE supporters are saying and they can't all be wrong.

PS plankgatan you criticize N95 pictures your first picture on page 93 of the K850 pictures thread the leaves on the tree and parts of tree look dreadful far worse than a N95 produces whats up with that?
Marc

I think everyone in this forum is fully aware that the k850 in "auto" produces fair and inconsistent shots, some good ,some bad. Hopefull a FW upgrade improves this. When both k850 and n95 are set in "auto" I think the n95 will more often produce a better looking pic. IMO though the k850's pics have more detail when 100% cropped because of the color reproduction of n95, even in some of the links that you have shown me, most of which I've already seen. I do think that if both phones were given to anyone with even a little know-how in photography, the k850 would produce the better images. If you show me that review where both phones were put to their full imaging potential, than so be it.
I choose to develope my own opinion through user experiences. I've enjoyed all the photos taken by people, dogmanns n95's pics were good, and planks pics are always good on the eyes. I don't see how you could ignore most of the pics taken with k850 in this forum. I fully acknowledge the n95s camera capability. I don't go into multiple forums with a agenda as you seem to do.

To be frank with you I have not seen any good FULL size photos of K850 posted here you can check out:-

http://www.esato.com/phonepho[....]make=sony+ericsson&model=K850i )

I dont even bother with picts from the person you mentioned who is not willing to post FULL size res picts.

I don't go into multiple forums with a agenda as you seem to do.

Can I suggest you READ the TITLE of the threads which I posted comments.

Looks like there's one incorrect detail in the results from the test plankgatan showed:

Translated:
Video Camera: Video at resolutions up to 640x480 pixels, video light.

Please correct me if I'm wrong but whereas the N95 shoots near DVD quality video, the K850i doesn't shoot better video than QVGA (near VCD...). If the testers could have gotten this right, and this was no small detail to miss IMO, the scoring between the N95 and the K850 would probably been more even, or maybe even the other way around.

A review of N82 with photo comparisons between N82 vs N95 8gb vs K850.

http://www.smape.com/en/reviews/nokia/Nokia_N82-prev.html

Here are some of the conclusions:-

The difference between N82 and N95 is hardly perceptible, in most cases there's virtually none save for a slight change in color rendition.

The improved flashlight makes Nokia N82 a better solution for shooting indoors, the difference from N81 and of course K850i becomes quite evident in such cases. Both N82 and N95 display superior image quality as compared to K850i, as well
