@mode

Haven't tried to uninstall it, but I'm very happy with it. It's a vast improvement over the previous version. I stopped using the old version as I was also having crashes and inability to render small seemingly simple pdfs.

This one is much better. Renders MUCH faster and seems much more stable.

I think the ROM upgrade version of pdf+ only installs in the tools as an application and does not upgrade the phone pdf+ in the office menu. The installed can then be moved to the office menu after and hence 2 pdf icons.

May someone tell me how the phone office menu can be included for update with new upgraded softwares because I think even the quickoffice must by now be having a newer version.

I sent an email to mbrain about having 2 pdf apps - here is the response...

"This is indeed as it should be. It turned out to be impossible to let M600 and P990 users upgrade the ROM version with a special ROM patch sis file. Adding a new app that is using as much of the old Pdf+ as possible turned out to be the only way to let owners of the P990 and M600 upgrade Pdf+.

i.e., it turned out to be a lot easier to just release a new app, instead of submitting it to UIQ, and then imagine every UIQ phone would get the upgrade through a new firmware, eventually.

..anyone managed to find the back- button, btw? I thought: great, now I can flip to the footnotes in the document really easy. And then there's no way to get back again, it seems..
